Your CACB ECA application must include the following documents:
- Degree/Diploma: Clear, legible photocopies of the degree/diploma
- Official / Original Academic transcripts: Official document issued by the institution attended that lists all subjects taken and grades earned for each year of study.
Photocopies of the Academic transcripts are not accepted.
Originals must be sent by Institution attended/or the candidate in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate official at the institution.
If the envelope is opened or there is no stamp or signature across the back flap, the documents will be rejected.
Photocopy of the degree/diploma could be sent by the applicant.
All documentation received becomes the property of CACB and will not be returned.
How to Send Your Documents
Option 1: Documents sent by the institution
Please ask the institution that awarded your degree to send your official / original Academic transcripts directly to the CACB in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate official at the institution.
If the documents are issued in languages other than English or French, you must provide clear and legible word-for-word official translation.
We recommend requesting from your institution a sealed envelope of documents to send to the translator.
Option 2: Documents sent by the applicant

Include Your Reference Number.
Before you send documents, you must complete an application and obtain an application number (ECAXXX). Please request that the institution includes this number on each document prior to sending them to the CACB.
The CACB is not responsible for documents that arrive without an application number, and this may delay the assessment of your application.
Pay the shipping charges.
