Required Documents

Required Documents

Your CACB ECA application must include:

  • Degree/Diploma: Clear, legible photocopies of the degree/diploma
  • Academic transcripts: Official document issued by the institution attended that lists all subjects taken and grades earned for each year of study.

How to Send Your Documents

Option 1
Please ask the institution that awarded your degree to send your documents directly to the CACB in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate official at the institution.

Option 2
If the institution gives you the documents to send to the CACB, it must be in a sealed envelope. If the envelope is opened or there is no stamp or signature across the back flap, the CACB cannot accept the documents.

Originals must be sent by Institution attended/or the candidate in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate official at the institution. If the envelope is opened or there is no stamp or signature across the back flap, the document will be rejected.

All documentation received becomes the property of CACB and will not be returned.

Include Your Reference Number.
Before you send documents, you must complete an application and obtain an application number (ECAXXX). You must write this number on each document that you submit to the CACB.
The CACB is not responsible for documents that arrive without an application number, and this may delay the assessment of your application.

Do Not Send Original Documents.
The CACB does not require any original documents if they are not sent through Option 1 or Option 2 described above. Documents that you submit will not be returned and will be destroyed.

Pay the shipping charges.
If you or your institution are sending your documents through a courier service, you must pay the shipping charges. The CACB is not responsible for unpaid shipping charges or any customs fees.
