CACB EDUCATIONAL CREDENTIAL ASSESSMENT (ECA)
A CACB Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) confirms if an international professional degree/diploma in architecture is comparable or not to a Canadian professional degree in architecture.
CACB ECA is:
- recognized and accepted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for the Express Entry Program; and
- the recognition that the Architectural University Degree is a professional degree and it is eligible for Academic Certification Assessment, which is required to register in the Internship in Architecture Program to start the licensure process.
CACB will:
- ensure that all required documents are received in accordance with CACB requirements and specifications;
- review the documents to ensure that they are authentic and issued by duly recognized institutions;
- evaluate the documents and assess their equivalency in terms of Canadian education; and issue the credential evaluation report.
